Meet the beginning
Beverley, a batch of biscuits
and a bright idea.
When Beverley Jones became a stay-at-home mother, she turned her love of baking into something more. There was no long-established family bakery and no secret recipe handed down through generations — just curiosity, practice and the willingness to learn.
Friends, neighbours, recipe books, school and years of experience all had a part to play. Those first biscuits found their fans. Word spread. And the menu grew.
BakerJones was formally registered in June 2020, but our story had already been rising for more than two decades.

BakerJones was formally registered in June, carrying more than twenty years of baking experience into the next chapter.
Still a family bakery
Seven family members work together, creating cakes, biscuits, fancies and thoughtful little celebrations.
The family is the team
Some days begin at 6am.
Others end at 6am.
Behind each finished cake and carefully packed box are hours of preparation, patience and attention to detail. Working with family has its challenges — and plenty of lessons — but it has also made our relationships stronger.

Most of our products are made fresh, with ingredients sourced locally. Just as important is understanding the person we are baking for. Your ideas, your favourite flavours and your celebrations help shape what comes out of our kitchen.
